Mupane Gold Mining (Pty) Ltd (MGM) is a 100% owned subsidiary of the Canadian TSX Venture exchange listed company GALANAE GOLD LTD, a gold producer and explorer with its operations in the Republic of Botswana.
The Mupane Gold Mine is located approximately 50 kilometers by road from Francistown in north eastern Botswana. In continuous operation since 2005, MGM has recently increased the operational life of mine and exploration activities are on-going to pursue further opportunities to develop additional resources.

SENIOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONAL
Reporting to the General Manager, applicants should have a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and hands-on experience with SQL and not
less than 7-10 years’ experience in a fast paced environment.
The key performance areas of this job are:
• Development of IT strategies, policies and procedures
• Management of IT security
• Designs, develops and maintain web-based applications
• Maintain and upgrade System development
• Drawing of Service Level Agreements and ensuring compliance with software licensing providers of Galane Gold
• Creates and maintains LAN/WAN maintenance logs
• High level responsiveness to trouble-shooting
• Management of Information Technology budget
