Personal Assistant-Botswana Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association

The BEAPA Board (constituted under section 20 of the EA Act of 2010) wishes to engage a Personal Assistant for the Association Secretariat.

Key Functions (Performance Areas)
Office administration, including but not limited to telephony, bookings, typing, filing, correspondence, placing notices and advertisements;
Responding to enquiries and directing them to the Executive Secretary or Registrar;
Preparing for important events, including Board and Committee meetings, AGMs e.t.c.;
Preparing and processing bills, invoices, receipts, statements, tax documents and other financial documents;
Assisting the Registrar as and when necessary; and
Performing any other duties as may be prescribed by the Executive Secretary


Minimum Requirements
A certificate or higher in Secretarial Studies/Records Management/Accounting or related discipline;
Three (3) years of administrative support;
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency;
Valid driver’s license

Advantageous to have the following:
Diploma qualification or higher;
Knowledge and experience in preparing and processing tax documents;
Administrative experience; and
Ability to multi-task, maintain office calendar, communicate effectively and uphold organisational values.

Conditions of Service
The office will be based in Gaborone;
Will be required to run office errands;
Two year contract, renewable on satisfactory performance

Salary
Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
