Botswana Red Cross Society invites suitably qualified applicants for the following positions:
Ref: BRCS/305.2.2 PHYSIOTHERAPIST –Tenable in Tlamelong Rehabilitation Centre (Tlokweng), Gaborone
Main Purpose of the Job
To provide physiotherapy services to clients and trainees at the centre and in the communities aimed at maximising their functional abilities hence improve their quality of ability.
Key Performance Areas
• To develop treatment plans for day clients coming for physiotherapy and overall rehabilitation services at Tlamelong and other vulnerable groups
• To facilitate referral systems, record keeping for trainees and clients and perform overall management of the department
• To conduct community based rehabilitation services and outreach follow-ups in the community
• To educate families and the community at large about disabilities and their rehabilitative/management procedures and awareness through workshops and/or community forums
• To liaise with other Rehabilitation Centres, to keep abreast with new developments in rehabilitation and upgrade the services accordingly
• To assist in resettlement of trainees by actively lobbying for employment and forming partnership with potential donors
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy, Human Movement Science and/or any related field
Experience
Three (3) years experience in working with people with disabilities

Ref: BRCS/305.2.2 REHABILITATION TECHNICIAN–Tenable in Tshimologo Stimulation Centre- Francistown
Main Purpose of the Job
To be the first representative of the BRCS-Tshimologo Stimulation Centre, that visitors/clients encounter. To manage and attend to all enquiries for BRCS and perform all the administrative functions.
Qualifications
Certificate/Diploma in Rehabilitation or any related field
Experience
At least three (3) years experience in working with people with disabilities
