Executive Sous Chef and Pastry Chef-Chobe Game Lodge


A well established high class Five Star Lodge within Chobe National Park are looking to fill the following positions: 

1. Executive Sous Chef
An opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and unique brigade led by “Executive Chef Andrew Jackson”
You will ideally have a minimum experience of 7 years gained in reputable lodges/hotels and you will be comfortable in all areas of the kitchen
You will have experience in multi-cuisine styles with mostly ala carte service. Attention to detail is of the highest priority
You should be able to direct and train staff, discipline and nurture them to attain the results we set out to achieve
The position is a long term commitment  to a reputable company
We are located in the bush so comfortable accommodation is supplied as part of the package


2. Pastry  Chef
The ideal person should have all round knowledge of the preparation of breads, pastries and confectioneries
You will run the department but be under the guidance of the Executive Chef (also an accomplished Pastry Chef)
Ideally you will have more than 5 years experience in reputable establishments
Live in position

For both positions a starting date would ideally be soon, but willing to wait for the right person.
