The
Bank requires the services of knowledgeable, highly skilled and self-driven
individuals for the following position:
ASSISTANT MANAGER, RISK & COMPLIANCE
General
overview of the job
Reporting
directly to Manager, Risk & Compliance the incumbent will create a positive
environment within all departments in Botswana Savings Bank for the
identification and management of operational and regulatory risk. The incumbent
will be responsible for influencing progressive improvement and control by
department managers in the standard of routine controls, the prevention and
recovery of avoidable losses, and mitigation of operational and regulatory risk
within Botswana Savings Bank.
Position Requirements:
Qualification:
Degree in Risk Management/Economics and Business Administration. A relevant
post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
At least five (5) years post qualification experience in enterprise-wide risk
management. Exposure in risk management in the banking or financial services
industry will be an added advantage
Competencies:
Integrity and ethical standing, strong strategic and conceptual thinking
skills, strong analytical and investigative skills, excellent oral and written
communication skills, strong organizational and coordination skills, strong
relationship management, delegation and performance management skills.
