TECHNICIANS (Tenable in Mogoditshane and Palapye)
The
Cheshire Foundation is a charity NGO for the rehabilitation of people with
disabilities. The Foundation is looking for qualified Therapists who have the
following experiences:-
Experience:
·
Three years experience as Therapists and with
knowledge and skills in the assessment and treatment of neurological patients
with long standing complex disabilities.
·
Candidates with Community Based Rehabilitation
experience.
·
Must be registered with the Botswana Health
Professions Council.
·
Must be in a possession of a valid driver's
licenses.
The Job involves some of the following:
·
To manage caseload of clients with complex needs
with medical diagnosis such as neurological, orthopaedic and complex conditions.
·
To use evidence based/client centred principles
to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
·
To assess and treat patients within a variety of
environments including workplace and home.
·
To work as part of the multidisciplinary team
providing specialist rehabilitation and to supervise students on clinical
placements and other staff members including rehabilitation technicians.
·
Participate in the discharge planning process
within the Daycare, Residential & programmes and carryout home visits in
partnership with designated team members in order to ensure smooth and safe
transition for the patients back into the community.
Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in
Physiotherapy/and or Occupational Therapy/and or Certificate in Rehabilitation
for Technicians.
