LECTURER IN POLITICAL SCIENCE-
CONTRACT POSITION (Citizens Only)
VACANCY
NO: FSS/ PAS 1/2012
Duties:
(i) The successful applicant will be expected to teach Undergraduate as well as
Post Graduate courses and must have a solid background in Political Science.
(ii) The applicant must have demonstrable capacity to teach at least three of
the following courses: Internationals Political Economy, Leadership and
Governance, Foundations of Public Management and Institutions, Critical
Thinking, Globalisation, and Contemporary Africa. (iii) perform any other
duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
Applicants must: (i) have an M.A. in Political Science plus Bachelors degree in
a relevant discipline with at least 2(i) pass and an overall aggregate not less
than 65%; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iii)
teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and demonstration
of effective academic leadership will be added advantages.

World Politics since 1945; Botswana's National Security; Africa in World
Politics of Regionalism. (iii) perform any other duties as may be assigned by
the Head of Department.
