The Government of Botswana signed a 5 year grant agreement with the World Bank to implement the Botswana National HIV and AIDS Prevention Support Project (BNAPS). The mentioned program has a budget of US$50 million which will be invested in 1. strengthening the institutional capacity of NACA, 2. Funding HIV and AIDS prevention activities at Civil Society Organizations/Private Sector Organisations level through a "call for proposal" system. The project is currently in its third year.
NACA is looking for candidates to fill the following position
SENIOR MONITORING AND EVALUATION CONSULTANT/ADVISOR
This will be an initial 1 (one) year performance-based contract, renewable on the need-basis, upon satisfactory performance and/or availability of project funding.
Qualifications
A degree in economics, statistics, demography/public health/ psychology/ demography/ bio statistics/ epidemiology/ sociology. A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
14 years relevant work experience in M&E. Experience in Research Monitoring and Evaluation, Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods, Design and Management of M&E Systems and M&E capacity building and training, Practical and proven experience in the principles of the analysis and interpretation of behavior change indicators. Design and Management if HIV and AIDS related databases.
