Key job responsibilities
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers in order to sell new advertising programs and to protect and increase existing advertising. Maintain assigned account bases while developing new accounts. Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts. Draw up contract for advertising work and help with collection and tracking payments due. Locate and contact potential clients in order to offer advertising services. Recommend appropriate sizes and formats for advertising, depending on the medium being used. Obtain and study information about clients' products, needs, problems, advertising history and business practices in order to offer effective sales presentations and appropriate product assistance.
Qualifications and Competency requirement
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing, a must have, Degree in Business Administration is an added advantage
- Minimum 1 year experience in sales environment
- A valid driver's license in mandatory
- Good planning and organizing skills. Time management. Compliance with policies and procedures. Good communication skills. Team player. Self driven and motivated. Analytical thinking and problem solving skills. Decisive, assertive, sober habits. Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
