Metals Limited ("DML" or "the Company") is a fast growing mining
company, which is listed on the Botswana and Australian Stock Exchanges. DML holds
an attractive portfolio of mineral assets and its management team has a strong track
record of success in finding and developing mineral resources.
As we
gear our organisation for growth and success we would like to invite you to join
our organisation in the role of Training Supervisor. This role will be based at
the Boseto Mine Site.
THE POSITION:
To design,
implement and conduct discipline specific training as per the approved annual training
plans to minimize skills gap. To provide coverage for Shift Process Supervisors.
Reporting
to the Plant Operations Superintendent, the incumbent will be responsible for among
other things the following;
• Develops in-house training programmes
according to set standards and framework of BOTA requirements
•Schedules and delivers in-house training
courses / modules as per
standardised format and compiles post training report for
all completed programmes within the set timeframe
• Conducts training needs analysis when
required
• Develops individual training plans in
conjunction with line managers, implements and monitors
the plans
• Research, develop and update training
materials in line with BOTA unit standards
• Develop and monitor action plans for
on-the-job training and assessments
• Confirm that all training requests conform
to the training plan and process internal / external training requests
• Adheres to HSE policies and procedures
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE
The successful
candidate should have a minimum of 8 years relevant plant experience, with above
average computer skills and a familiarity in word processing, spread sheets and
presentations. Persons with a genuine interest in the ongoing development and training
of process personal are also encouraged to apply. A diploma in Metallurgy would
be highly regarded.
