CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY TRUST FUND (CITF)
RE-ADVERTISEMENT
The
Construction Industry Trust Fund (CITF) is a Joint Project between the Ministry
of Labour and Home Affairs and the Construction Industry of Botswana. It
operates from an established Training Institution situated in Gaborone,
Botswana. Our aim is to provide the Construction Industry with locally trained,
competent manpower in order to maximise use and engagement of Botswana Citizens
on all construction projects.
We
require energetic, self motivated, innovative candidates to optimally run and
head the following Section:-
a) POSITION:
SENIOR FACILITATOR - ELECTRICAL (Post tenable in Gaborone on two (2) years fixed
contract)
Key Performance Areas
·
Conducts training and assessments for electrical
in the workshop, develop and update training programs materials, execute and
control the sectional budget and business plan.
·
Implements and maintains industry standards and
acknowledge mastery of competency levels of trainees.
·
Acts as a liaison person with the Construction
Industry on issues relating to the training in the electrical trade.
·
Prepares sectional reports, plans and orders
material needed for the section.
·
Maintains safety procedure within the workshop
and on site.
·
Supervises and manages the section.
·
Advises, guides and counsels junior members of
staff in the section.
·
Provides data for daily, weekly and monthly
training records.
Job Qualifications/Experience
·
Advanced Certificate /Advanced Diploma in Electrical
Installation from a recognized institution.
·
At least 6 years site experience as an Artisan
in the Electrical trade
·
Mastered competencies at production performance
level
·
First Aid, Health and Safety Certificate
Computer literacy
·
Experience in Competency Based Modular Training
methodology would be an added advantage.
·
BOTA registered and accredited as a Trainer
Technical Teacher / Trainer Certificate.
SALARY SCALE:
CITF
Band 6 (P154 308.00 - P170 364.00) per annum depending on experience and qualification.
