Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS) is a semi-autonomous organization of Government responsible for assessing and collecting tax revenue as well as border administration. BURS invites dynamic, self-motivated and qualified citizens of Botswana to apply for the following position: 

ASSISTANT MANAGER PROCUREMENT

Main Purpose of the Job:
To plan, coordinate, organize and control the procurement and acquisition of goods and services and the implementation of tender and supplies policies, procedures and regulations to meet Botswana Unified Revenue Service requirements for goods and services in the most cost effective manner; and to ensure the effective management and control of the Organization's inventory and distribution system. 

Key Performance Areas
1. Optimal availability of goods and services to user divisions.
2. Minimise grievances and disputes arising from adjudication and awards
3. Adherence to laid down procedures and regulations.
4. Accuracy and availability of documentation.
5. Minimise queries from suppliers and creditors.
6. Training and Development of staff.
7. Minimise Audit queries on the acquisition of Goods and Services
8. Management Tender Committee Secretariat. 

Position Requirements: 

Qualifications:
Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business related degree. Membership of an internationally recognized institute of purchasing and supply or business related profession will be an added advantage. 

Experience:
At least four (4) years post qualification experience in supply chain management specializing in procurement management. Two (2) of which must have been at Supervisory level.

Salary:BURS 05 (P 200, 484 - P 269, 652) per annum
