1. Control and Instrumentation Engineer
Job Summary
Oversee the C & I design aspects of the project
Minimum Requirements
• B. Eng./B.Sc. with Professional registration through ECSA* OR M.Tech with professional registration through ECSA* or equivalent professional Engineering Body
• 7 years’ experience in a variety of specialised fields. Must be specialised and proficient in more than 4 of the C&I Logical groupings
Key Effectiveness Areas
• Oversee the C&I design aspects of the project as executed by the EPCM and approval of drawings prior to final issuing
• Develop specifications and tender documentation for procurement of C&I equipment
• Site management and coordination of the C&I sub contractors within the project
• Establish the planned maintenance programs for new C&I equipment
• Integrating the new C&I equipment performance to identify maintenance related problems and devising remedial solutions
• Oversee the programming, configuration/calibration, commissioning and optimisation exercises as appropriate
• Perform inspections, fault finding and diagnosis on new equipment and making remedial plans or recommendation as appropriate
• Approve the standard operating procedures for new equipment
• Monitor end users performance on new equipment, coaching on-the-job or arranging for follow-up training if required
• Give expert advice and guidance to the project manager, construction manager and other project team members
• Development of standards, set-up of process procedures, adheres to and promotes Corporate Governance within the business unit and throughout
• Knowledge of the social responsibility metrics and the ability to integrate a social labour plan into the operational strategic business plan

2. Contracts Administrator
Job Summary
To initiate, negotiate and place procurement contracts for Debswana operations
Minimum Requirements
• Technical/Commercial degree or equivalent
• 5 years post qualification experience, 3 of which should be in a Contracts Administration environment
